 OUR PROGRAM IS BASED ON THE KNOWLEDGE THAT YOUNG CHILDREN ARE ACTIVE LEARNERS. BECAUSE CHILDREN LEARN BY DOING, ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED TO BE MEANINGFUL AND INTERESTING. Beginning in September, 2002 we will begin a new curriculum for all ages based on the High Reach system. You can find out more about this specific program at the High Reach web site. Our Policy on Guidance Children are guided through loving authority, understanding, consistency and respect for the child as a unique individual. All staff members use positive guidance methods that help children learn self control without loss of self-esteem. The children are encouraged to use words to solve problems with others.
